VEGATRANS was organized in 1999 in the city of Odessa. It is oriented at transport servicing of export/import needs of the Ukrainian market. The Company's staff consists of highly-skilled specialists in the field of sea carriages (most of the employees of the Company graduated from Odessa State Maritime University).

The Company has been set up to effect sea carriages of container and conventional cargoes between main ports of Europe, ports of the Middle East, China, India, and Japan.

Besides, VEGATRANS, acting as a booking partner of a number of shipping companies such as CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd Container Line, MAERSK- SEALAND, Norasia Service S.A., and others, offers transport and forwarding services in the field of international carriages of container and general cargoes including sea, road, and railway transport, and also renders assistance in customs clearance of cargoes.
